Kim uses both qualitative and quantitative methods in her research and as a non-clinical researcher, regularly collaborates with clinicians to prioritise important research questions and ensure findings are relevant for clinical practice. She also regularly engages communities in her work to ensure perspectives from children and families are appropriately reflected in the research questions, methods, data interpretation, and dissemination strategy.
