MrJulien Amblard

Julien Amblard is a PhD student in the SPIKE (Structured and Probabilistic Knowledge Engineering) research group at Imperial College London (Department of Computing). As part of the ProSafe doctoral network — a European training network initiative — he is working on developing neuro-symbolic artificial intelligence methods for abnormal event detection in industrial processes. In particular, his research focuses on using logic-based symbolic machine learning to achieve greater explainability and interpretability, combining this with other approaches to increase scalability. He is also part of the Safe and Trusted AI center for doctoral training, which provides additional training opportunities in this domain.
