BIO
I currently invite applications for PhD positions. Please email me your CV, two emails of reference writers, and a letter of motivation, and a 1 page proposal outlining what research project you want to do. Please review this website for options and inspiration (e.g. Seabird ecology and citizen science, the genomics of life history traits, social behaviours in house sparrows).

I am fascinated by traits that, like most behaviours, are inherently flexible yet individuals seem to exhibit only rather constraint set of variants – despite there being much variation between individuals showing that success can be had in a multitude of ways.
I also am interested in behavioural ecology, ageing, and seabird ecology. I love to play with data , and I like a good conundrum that seems complex and breaks my brain.
