RESEARCH
Specific interests in pregnancy, obesity/metabolic health, adipose tissue biology and the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD). My PhD focused on metformin intervention on the programming of adiposity/metabolic health in offspring of obese pregnancy. I am currently working on the effects of glucose intolerant pregnancy and its (oral) treatments on offspring growth and development.
