BIO
I am a PhD researcher focusing on the sensitivity of rivers and landscapes to climate change in the past and future. My research involves field-based quantitative palaeohydrology and numerical modeling, and I have worked on modern and ancient systems in the Spanish Pyrenees, Scottish Highlands, South Wales and the Gulf of Corinth, Greece. I am currently working on the large-scale source-to-sink dynamics of the Southern Pyrenean Foreland during the Eocene hothouse, in particular, using the concept of river intermittency to extract transient signals of climatic and tectonic change. I enjoy teaching in classroom and field-based courses, and have received awards for teaching in 2023 and 2024.
