BIO
James Odametey is a Transport Analyst for the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) within Imperial College London. His main focus is on benchmarking activities for the American Bus Benchmarking Group (ABBG) and the TowerCo Benchmarking Group.
James holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Master’s degree in Transport from Imperial College London. He brings a wealth of knowledge and years of industry experience from his previous roles in the Highway and Transportation Department at Associated Consultants Limited (ACON), where he began his career as a National Service Personnel and quickly rose up the ranks to an Assistant Highway Engineer. He made significant contributions to large-scale infrastructure projects, including the prestigious 4-Tier Pokuase Interchange and the Eastern Corridor Road projects in Ghana during the planning, design, construction and post-construction phases.
Outside of work, James is also involved in community outreach as a UK STEM Ambassador to help inspire the next generation of professionals in STEM.
