BIO

Executive Director at the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation.

My role covers all aspects of strategy and business development, including:
• Provide strategic leadership of a £13M+ research portfolio, managing 30+ staff and aligning with institutional priorities.
• Drive Centre-wide planning, finance and budgets, risk management, compliance, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
• Build strategic partnerships with UKRI, NIHR, WHO and academic collaborators to expand CHEPI’s policy impact.
• Lead business development, securing grants and long-term contracts, and steering governance and executive decision-making.
• Oversee development of flagship tools (e.g. Health-GPS), positioning CHEPI as a leader in health policy and simulation modelling.
• Mentor mid-level leaders, foster a high-performance culture, and lead hiring, retention, and staff development.
• Serve as module lead for MSc and BSc programmes, delivering cross-Faculty teaching and student supervision.


Previously worked on mathematical models of infectious diseases, in particular the allocation of investment in resource-limited settings afflicted with HIV for the HIV Modelling Consortium.
