TEACHING INTERESTS
I primarily teach on the iBSc in Medical Sciences with Humanities, Philosophy and Law, and also lead the BMB short module Creative Reflection on Professional Practice. I regularly work with colleagues across the Faculty of Medicine to incorporate the medical humanities into clinical teaching and training, for instance in the Professional Values and Behaviours strand of the core curriculum.
I am also a Teaching Fellow in the History of Science and Medicine for the Horizons programme in the Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication, leading modules on History: Science and Empire, History of Modern Medicine and the Body, and History of Intoxication.
