BIO
Juna Sathian received her PhD in Physics from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia in 2013. Her main research is focused on Nonlinear optics and Laser Physics. She joined the Maser project in 2014 where she works on the optical pump setup and characterisation of room-temperature maser. She has carried out research and patented, with Dr Mark Oxborrow, a novel form of luminescent concentrator for pumping maser, and for therapeutic applications. Her research interests include novel or improved light sources, tunable diode-pumped solid-state laser systems and laser frequency stabilization.
