BIO
I work on up-scaling solar hydrogen production through modelling, designing, fabricating and testing novel prototype photoelectrochemical (PEC) systems. I received my Bachelor’s, M.Eng. and PhD degrees at Universidad del Valle, Colombia. I have experience on:
Development of Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) applied to wastewater treatment such as: Photoelectrocatalysis, Electro-Pexone, Photocatalysis, Ozonation/UV, among others.
Modelling and simulation of chemical and electrochemical processes
Development of electrochemical sensors and biosensors for virus detection
