BIO

I am a Clinical Associate Professor in Respiratory Medicine at the National Heart and Lung Institute, and an Honorary Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, with a special interest in respiratory infection and tuberculosis.

My research interest lies in global respiratory health, with a specific focus on TB-associated chronic respiratory disease in Africa. My previous work has described the burden and impact of post-TB lung disease amongst adults in Malawi, and I currently co-lead an NIHR Global Health Group investigating strategies for integrated TB-Respiratory care in Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria.
