Jim is a Research Associate working with Prof. Tina van de Flierdt on reconstructing Antarctic ice sheet history, with a current focus on the Pleistocene. He uses geochemical techniques to trace the provenance of Antarctic sediments and is also interested in integrating sediment provenance proxies with numerical ice sheet modelling.
