Julia manages Imperial's international partnerships across the Americas, working with higher education and research institutions, governments, industry, and other strategic stakeholders. She supports Imperial's efforts to develop and strengthen strategic relationships across the region, including the university's partnerships with MIT and the University of São Paulo, as well as Imperial Global USA in San Francisco.

Prior to joining Imperial, Julia worked in the Office of the Vice-President, International at the University of Toronto, where she led several institution-wide initiatives, including the development of U of T’s International Strategic Plan 2022-2027 and its policies and processes on research security. She also managed a portfolio of strategic international partnerships in Europe and the United States, including collaborations with UCL, CNRS, and The University of Manchester. As Director of Research for the University of Toronto's G7 and G20 Research Groups, Julia specialised in analysing the effectiveness and policy influence of these forums across a range of global issues.

Julia holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Canadian Studies and a graduate degree in Public Policy from the University of Toronto.
