BIO

I am Postdoctoral research associate working in the Centre of Cold Matter, utilising microwave cavities and trapped electrons for axion dark matter detection.

My past research interests:

·       Design and construction of optomechanical sensors levitated via electrical, optical and magnetic traps for dark matter searches, focusing on composite nuggets and ultralight dark matter.

·       Cooling of a levitated nanoparticle via 3D electrical cold damping.

·       Directional force sensing with levitated nanoparticles.

·       Characterisation of levitated asymmetrical nanocrystals via translational and librational motion and gas damping.

·       Laser refrigeration of levitated rare-earth doped bipyramidal nanocrystals.
