RESEARCH
My research interests centre on the identification and characterisation of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and mild behavioural impairment (MBI) as early markers of dementia and other neurodegenerative conditions.
I am particularly interested in speech and language biomarkers, digital phenotyping, and artificial intelligence approaches for detecting subtle cognitive and behavioural changes. My work also explores the integration of multimodal data, including speech, electronic health records, and clinical assessments, to improve risk prediction, support clinical decision-making, and enable earlier intervention. More broadly, I am interested in the development and real-world implementation of digital health technologies that promote healthy ageing and improve outcomes for individuals at risk of dementia.
