    Pfizer - £700,000 – October 2005- April 2009 – “Microbubble Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy of the Liver in Patients with Hepatitis C”. This study combined imaging and serological markers of fibrosis to look at disease progression and response to treatment in hepatitis C. The grant employed: a. 2 radiographers (Nayna Patel, Julie Fitzpatrick) b. 1 physicist, (Marzena Wylezinska-Arridge) c. 1 part time research nurse (Mary Crossey)
