Jennifer Canizales manages the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Laboratory Service at the National Heart & Lung Institute (NHLI).
Jennifer obtained her PhD in Immunology at the NHLI, her research focused on furthering the understanding of the immunology of Laboratory Animal Allergy. She obtained an MSc in Infection & Immunity from University College London and has a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences (Genetics) from Brunel University.
Her work involves the development of novel immunological assays for occupational disease, as well as the management of the ISO accredited Occupational and Environmental Medicine Laboratory Service.
