Dr. Judith Brown is an Advanced Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London.  Prior to joining Imperial in 2026, she was a Principal Member of the Technical Staff in the Engineering Sciences Center at Sandia National Laboratories (New Mexico, USA), where she also did a postdoc in computational solid mechanics. Dr. Brown holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and a Ph.D in Mechanical engineering (2015), all from North Carolina State University, USA.
