BIO

I am the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers Lead at Imperial, and support the Concordat Implementation and Planning Group as well as the Researcher Development Committee. I work across sections at Imperial and externally to support Imperial, Researchers and their line managers in what concerns Environment and Culture, Employment and Career Development of Research Staff.

As part of the Early Career Researcher Institue (ECRI) I am the Research Funding Programme Lead, responsible for liaising with the Research Support and Compliance Division for all internally managed opportunities and pre-award courses leading to securing funding for Early Career Researchers. I also coordinate and deliver part of the workshop provision of ECRI, and coordinate external programmes such as the European Talent Academy.

I have developed some and currently deliver over 20 workshop sessions to groups of up to 40 people. My sessions include: the Fellowship applications suite, Skills analysis and support for 10 development days use, and social media and how to use these tools for networking and increasing visibility.

I support the Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Specialist and Technical Advisory Group promoting consultancy and business opportunities and training for research staff and students alongside Enterprise at Imperial.
