BIO
Isaac Hayden is a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics at and part of the StatML Centre for Doctoral Training. He is supervised by Professor Sarah Filippi in the Department of Mathematics and Professor Steven Niederer from the National Heart and Lung Institute.
Before joining the StatML programme in 2024, Isaac completed an integrated Master’s in Mathematics at Durham University (2019-2023), with an Erasmus placement at the University of Bologna (2021-2022). He then worked as a Pharmacometric Data Scientist in a HealthTech start-up delivering precision chemotherapy dosing (2023-2024). There he developed Bayesian pharmacokinetic models and machine learning extensions to describe drug exposure in underserved patient populations.
