BIO

Research Associate at Imperial College London since November 2025, working under the supervision of Dr. Sean M. Collins. Research focused on the use of advanced characterization techniques for the interfacial study of metal–organic framework (MOF) composites. In particular, electron pair distribution function analysis using 4D-STEM.

She obtained her PhD in Chemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in June 2025. Her doctoral thesis, entitled Design of Metal- and Covalent-Organic Framework Composites: A Comprehensive Study of Structures and Interfaces for Sustainable Applications, was supervised by Dr. Ana E. Platero-Prats and Dr. Carmen Montoro.

Her international research experience includes stays at the University of Cambridge (2023), in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy within Dr Thomas Bennett’s group, and at the University of Kyoto (2025), at iCeMS in Dr Shuhei Furukawa’s group.

Her studies in Chemistry were carried out through an international double degree programme between the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) and L’École Européenne de Chimie, Polymères et Matériaux (ECPM)-Université de Strasbourg (France), leading to the award of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, an Engineering Degree from ECPM, and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from both institutions.
