BIO

Hasan Almatrouk is a PhD student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London. His research focuses on the application of machine learning and quantum machine learning methods for modelling and forecasting greenhouse gas emissions from wastewater treatment systems, with a particular focus on nitrous oxide (N₂O). He is especially interested in time-series forecasting approaches, including LSTM and quantum-enhanced LSTM models, to better understand complex environmental data and support more sustainable wastewater management.
