Summary
Hadi El Daou is a Research Associate in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Imperial College. He works within the Medical Engineering Group and is involved in a project, funded by the Wellcome Trust and the EPSRC, using an industrial robot as an instrument for evaluating the load-bearing functions of human joints.
Prior to joining Imperial, Dr El Daou worked as a research associate at EU 7th Framework Program Project FILOSE (Robotic FIsh LOcomotion and SEnsing). His role was modelling the dynamics of a bio-inspired fish like robot using flexible parts.
Dr El Daou has Masters and PhD degrees in Mechanics and Robotics from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie-Paris VI, Paris, France.
