BIO

I began my career at the University of Surrey, where I completed my degree in Chemistry with Forensic Investigation, including a year of research in elemental analysis of environmental samples at Universidade da Coruña, Spain.  I later completed a PhD at the University of Reading and the University of Surrey, funded by the FoodBioSystems Doctoral Training Partnership, focusing on micro- and nanoplastics in horticultural systems. In November 2025, I joined the Department of Chemistry as a Teaching Technician, supporting first and second year measurement science undergraduate laboratories.
