BIO

George is an Associate Professor (Reader) in Robotics and Technology in Cancer. He received a BEng in Mechatronics from Sussex University, an MSc in Computing Science and a PhD on Medical Imaging and Surgical Robotics both from Imperial College London. He is the director of the HARMS Lab: Human-centred Automation, Robotics and Monitoring for Surgery (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/hamlyn-centre/research/research-groups/human-centred-automation-robotics-and-monitoring/), Department of Surgery & Cancer, The Hamlyn Centre, Institute of Global Health Innovation.
