G.A. (George) Tsalidis is a postdoctoral researcher (research fellow) at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Imperial College London. George's’ expertise lies in the fields of Life Cycle Assessment, Social-Life Cycle Assessment, and thermochemical conversion of biomass.
He studied Mechanical Engineering at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, did his PhD at the Process and Energy department of Delft University of Technology on the effect of wood pre-treatment on tars production during gasification of wood, and two postdocs at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management and Faculty of Applied Sciences of Delft University of Technology on the environmental, social and economic performances of wastewater treatment and valorization technologies. Before joining Imperial College London, he was a research fellow at Brunel University London.
