BIO

I am currently a PhD Student at Allsopp's Lab within the National Heart and Lung Institute.

I have also worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Infectious Disease, part of my post was funded by the National Institute of Health Research Health Protection Research Unit in Healthcare Associated Infection and Antimicrobial Resistance. My work included bioinformatic analysis of Streptococcus pyogenes and Streptococcus agalactiae whole genomes to investigate the genetic composition and antimicrobial resistance determinants of these pathogens.

My previous work focused on creating a novel visualisation technique for the tracking of type VI secretion system activity in Vibrio cholera.
