BIO

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Aeronautics, Imperial College London. Prior to joining Imperial College, I was a senior research associate at the University of Bristol, and postdoctoral research associate at the University of Oxford. I obtained my doctoral degree, DPhil in Engineering Science, at the University of Oxford (2018) with a thesis on the effects of harsh environments and dynamic loads upon the mechanical performance of fibre composites.

My research interests include: mechanical characterisation, polymers, composites, experimental mechanics, impact, digital image correlation, instrumentation, and micromechanical modelling.
