DrGiovanni Miceli

My research centres on the synthesis, fabrication, and characterization of biomaterials for tissue engineering and drug delivery, with a particular focus on polymeric bioelectronic implants. I am particularly interested in developing in vitro models to study the effects of drug molecules in three-dimensional cell cultures and investigating how electric fields and stimulation influence cell behaviour and drug sensitivity to improve cancer treatments.
