BIO

I am a chemical engineer specialising in carbon management and sustainable process systems for the net-zero transition. My research focuses on the development, modelling, optimisation, and assessment of innovative technologies for carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), direct air capture (DAC), carbon dioxide removal, and low-carbon chemical production.

My work combines process systems engineering, techno-economic analysis, life cycle assessment, and mathematical optimisation to evaluate emerging decarbonisation pathways and support the deployment of environmentally and economically sustainable solutions.

Another focus of my recent research is the integration of electrochemical processes, including bipolar membrane electrodialysis, with carbon capture and carbon utilisation systems, as well as the design of CO₂ supply chains and circular carbon technologies.

I am particularly interested in bridging fundamental process innovation with system-level implementation, contributing to the development of scalable technologies capable of supporting industrial decarbonisation and achieving long-term climate targets.
