RESEARCH

Currently working on KherveFitting, a tool for fitting XPS data.

KherveFitting is a fully Open Source XPS Fitting software that is simple , snappy, easy to use and available across severall platforms (Windows, Linux). Currently , only the binary version of Windows is available but the source python files are available for Linux and MacOS. The software is written in Python using well known libraries: Numpy, lmfit, matplotlib, panda.

KherveFitting can open Excel files (.xlsx) or import/convert VAMAS files (.vms) into Excel format. 5 background types available: Tougaard, Linear, Shirley, Smart, Adaptive Smart. Various peak fitting models: Product and Sum of Gaussian and Lorentzian (GL & SGL), Voigt, Asymmetric Lorentzian (LA) and many more . Fit single peaks or doublets. Doublet splitting and RSF values are stored in a library file. Several intensity calibration available:TPP-2M, Scoffield, Wagner. Atomic concentration acurately calculated and matching with Thermo Avantage software.
