BIO
Gabriel is a PhD student in the Control and Power Group and a member of the EPICS Centre (Electrical Power Innovation for a Carbon-free Society), supervised by Prof Mark O'Malley and Prof Balarko Chaudhuri and funded by the Leverhulme Trust. He received a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Chile (2021, 2024) and a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from CentraleSupélec, France.
His research interests include power system dynamics, stability services, and operations. He is currently working on developing system strength services for IBR-dominated power systems.
