BIO

Professor Fang Xie joined the Department of Materials at Imperial College London in November 2008 as a post-doctoral researcher. She is currently professor in the same department. Her research concerns novel nanomaterials synthesis and fabrication and their applications in energy and life sciences. Metal and semiconducting nanoparticles are prepared by both bottom-up and top-down methods such as colloidal lithography, nanoimprint lithography, and wet chemical synthesis/self-assembly.

Potential Ph.D. Students

Please get in touch if your research interests align with the broad area of my group. It would be great if you could state clearly how you intend to fund your study (through a specific scholarship scheme you plan to apply to, or being self-funded).
