Intercalated BSc in Cardiovascular Sciences:

Prof Ng was the Director of the Intercalated BSc in Cardiovascular Sciences at Imperial College London between 2020 and 2026. This course is one of the flagship undergraduate taught programmes within the National Heart & Lung Institute. It is a unique programme, which attracts highly-motivated intercalated medical students from both within Imperial College and external students from across the UK, and has been the ‘starting point’ for many academic cardiology careers. As recognition of Prof Ng's expertise in teaching and learning in higher education, and his key role in supporting others and spreading effective teaching practices, he was recently appointed as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
