MissFanny Mozu-Simpson

Fanny is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Anatomy and Diagnostics, where she delivers anatomy teaching to undergraduate medical students. With expertise in gross, functional, neuro, and clinical anatomy, she employs innovative and evidence-based teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.

Prior to joining Imperial, Fanny was a University Teacher in Medical Anatomy at the University of Sheffield, where she taught anatomy to medical, dental, bioscience, and postgraduate neuroscience students. She played a key role in the redesign of the anatomy curriculum using evidence-based approaches to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.

Fanny holds an MSc in Human Anatomy with Education from the University of Sheffield, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy alongside pedagogical principles. Her MSc thesis focused on strategies to enhance graduate employability within higher education. She also holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from the same institution, where her research investigated cell replacement therapy for Type 1 diabetes.

Her research interests include fostering inclusivity within the anatomy curriculum and leveraging innovative approaches to improve student outcomes. She is also particularly interested in exploring the role of Generative AI in medical education and its potential to enhance learning experiences.
