DrEvangelos Kallitsis

Evangelos is a postdoctoral researcher in the Electrochemical Science and Engineering group.  His research examines how product design and supply chain decisions influence the sustainability of energy storage and transport systems. His work is grounded in life cycle thinking, integrating environmental, economic and material supply dimensions to support evidence-based decision making.  As part of the Faraday Institution ReLiB project, he develops models to analyse the environmental impact of direct recycling processes for lithium-ion batteries and position them in a broader context of establishing a sustainable battery value chain.
