BIO
I am an Outreach Evaluation Officer, working in the Schools Outreach team at Imperial. In my role, I support the measuring and reporting the impact and efficacy of the Outreach programmes. I work on developing and maintaining Theory of Change models for our programmes, designing survey and data collection tools, and reporting progress against our Access and Participation Plan (APP) aims.
I joined Imperial from the ASPIRES research project based at IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society in 2023. This research project aimed to discover what factors shape and influences young people's Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) trajectories and aspirations. In this role I managed the public and policy communications for the project and wider STEM Participation & Social Justice Group, including reporting research impact and findings to non-specialist audiences. I also led on two REF 2021 Impact Case Studies linked to the work of the research group.
I've worked in public engagement and widening participation with STEM, taking a special interest in working with minoritised communities in STEM and evaluation of public engagement work.
If you'd like to discuss recording and sharing the impact of research engagement, please do get in touch.
