Emily is currently a Research Technician in Malick Gibani's group. Here, she is working on the Challenge Non-Typhoidal Salmonella (CHANTS) study, which aims to develop a new controlled human infection model for Salmonella Typhimurium.

Previously Emily has worked in Prof Ajit Lalvani's laboratory across 4 community household contact studies. Her research investigated correlates of protection against mild SARS-CoV-2 infection, and examined the mechanisms behind natural resistance to Tuberculosis using flow cytometry, RNA-Sequencing, NanoString technologies and qPCR. Emily has also completed a BSc in Biological Sciences and MSc in Immunology, both at Imperial College London.
