BIO
I am a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr Thibault Bertrand (2nd supervisor: Dr Gunnar Pruessner). I previously completed an MMath degree at the University of Edinburgh.
My research lies in the realms of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, biophysics, and soft matter physics. I am currently researching collective behaviour in active matter to understand various biological phenomena (e.g. flocking and intercellular interactions) and explore the fundamental physics in these non-equilibrium systems.
I regularly attend the Non-Equilibrium Systems group seminars and Mathematical Physics seminars. I am the current organiser of the Biophysics Journal Club.
