BIO
Eleonora is a postdoctoral researcher in the Bioengineering Department at Imperial College London. In 2024 she received her PhD in Plant-Pathogen interactions from the Life Sciences Department at Imperial College London. During her PhD she was awarded the Laura Bassi Scholarship (2023) and was nominated Woman Scientist of the Month by the European Platform of Women Scientists (2023). Eleonora is also the Early Career Researcher representative for the Imperial Fungal Network. Her current research focuses on early stages of root colonisation by Arbuscular Mycorrhizal fungi. To achieve this, she incorporates her image analysis skills with the microfluidic technology knowledge of the Stanley lab.
