After working in the private and public sectors, and then as a Demonstrator in GIS at Canterbury Christ Church University, I joined Imperial College London in August 2003 as a Research Officer in the Department of Primary Care and Public Health. I switched to honorary status in 2005 and since then I have worked as Senior Editor of Papers from the Institute of Archaeology at University College London, been a Research Associate in GIS at Kingston University, and then later Lecturer in GIS and Human Geography at Kingston University.
