MrEmilio Rello Rincon

Emilio is a Transport Analyst at the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) at Imperial College London. At the TSC, Emilio collaborates in the GOAL benchmarking group.

Prior joining TSC, Emilio worked for over four years at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) in Mexico, most recently as Mobility and Innovation Coordinator, where he led a major research project on public transport digitalisation, analysing performance data and conducting stakeholder interviews across four cities. Previously, as Transport Analyst at ITDP, he coordinated diverse transport and mobility projects, employing technology, innovation and data analysis to create positive social and environmental impacts. He contributed to several guides and reports published by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Emilio holds a Master's degree in Transport Planning and Engineering from the University of Leeds, where he focused his dissertation on assessing the impact of the integration between bike-sharing and metro system in Mexico City, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
