BIO

Ellen is a PhD student in the Androgen Signalling and Prostate Cancer Group at the Department of Surgery and Cancer. Ellen's research interests are in the development of novel cancer therapeutics and her PhD project is focused on evaluating the mechanisms of action and utility of the CDK7 inhibitor, Samuraciclib, for the treatment of castrate-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). The project is funded by a Medical Research Council Enterprise DTP studentship with Carrick Therapeutics and is primarily supervised by Professor Charlotte Bevan.
