I am a clinical researcher and healthcare professional with expertise in neurodegenerative medicine, translational neuroscience and clinical trial conduct. I currently lead the strategisation, management and delivery (patient-facing) of a CTIMP entitled "The Impact of Semaglutide in Amyloid Positivity (ISAP)". This proof-of-concept, superiority study investigates the potential neuroprotective properties of GLP-1 RAs against palcebo in preclinical and prodromal AD, with key neural, plasma and cognitive biomarkers being analysed. 

Other projects i have been at the forefront of, both in a clinical and coordinating capacity include exploring lifestyle factors and digital parameters using wearable devices in manifest Huntington's disease (Multi-Domain Lifestyle Targets for Improving Prognosis in Huntington's disease - DOMINO-HD - Cardiff University Centre for Trials Research) and leading the development of a biobank, unique to the south coast, collecting and storing material donated by patients with lymphoid and lymphoma (Mature Lymphoid Maligancies Observational Study - MLMS - Southampton University, School of Cancer Biology). 

I am a published author in peer-reviewed journals, with articles spanning speech pathology, biomechanics, bioengineering, wearables and motor symptoms in Huntington's disease.
