BIO
Dr. Eberechukwu Ihemezie is a Research Associate in Social-Environmental-Technical Integration at Imperial College, London. His diverse research interests span the interactions between people and nature, including biodiversity conservation, sustainable land management, and nature valuation. His work employs an interdisciplinary mixed-methods approach from environmental social sciences. Before joining Imperial, Ebere was a post-doctoral researcher at Aberystwyth Business School, Aberystwyth University, Wales, UK, and a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is also an International Research Associate at the Resource and Environmental Policy Research Centre (REPRC), University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He holds a BSc (first class) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as an MSc (distinction) and a PhD in Environment and Development and Environmental Economics, respectively, from the University of Leeds, UK. Dr Ebere has also won many academic awards, including the Commonwealth Doctoral and Master's Scholarships, as well as institutional awards such as the Argelander Academy Grant and the Global Heritage Lab at the University of Bonn, Germany.
