The research in my group focuses on the physics and properties of clouds and their role in the Earth's climate system. A major part of this is in assessing changes in clouds and rain caused by particulates (known as aerosols), particularly from shipping and aviation.

We use a variety of tools to study cloud and aerosol processes, including: state of the art global and regional climate models, satellite and ground-based observations, and fusion with new data networks and sources.
