BIO
I am an ST4 Registrar Doctor in Paediatrics with a keen interest in academic paediatric critical care. In 2025 I was awarded an NIHR Doctoral Fellowship to undertake a PhD at Imperial College London (NIHR306416, £556,264) where I will investigate implementation processes related to paediatric critical care trials and efforts to improve the adoption of scientific evidence into everyday practice in children’s intensive care as part of IMPACT - IMPlementation of PAediatric Critical care Trials.
I most recently worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Paediatric Intensive Care at St Mary’s Hospital in London. I was previously awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in Paediatrics, hosted by The William Harvey Research Institute at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, and am a past recipient of the Royal Society of Medicine Sam Tucker Fellowship.
My primary research focuses on implementation science in paediatric critical care, alongside an interest in paediatric critical care hepatology and nephrology. I have a research focus on the intensive care management of paediatric acute liver failure, in particular anticoagulation and plasma exchange, and am a member of the ESPNIC Liver Failure Special Interest Group. I also have expertise in performing systematic reviews and have advised on public health evaluation initiatives in child health.
I am fortunate to have been supported by the NIHR Paediatric Critical Care incubator. My PhD supervisors are Prof Padmanabhan Ramnarayan and Dr Patrick Kierkegaard at Imperial, A/Prof Sarah Seaton and Prof Joseph Manning at the University of Leicester, and my academic mentor Prof Akash Deep at King's College London.
