BIO
Davide Nodari is a materials scientist specialising in thin-film optoelectronics, with a particular focus on perovskite and organic semiconductor-based photodetectors. He completed his PhD in Chemistry at Imperial College London, where his research focused on understanding and suppressing dark current and noise in perovskite/organic heterojunction photodetectors for stable imaging applications.
His research interests include the development of next-generation photodetectors for visible, near-infrared and X-ray imaging, with a particular emphasis on interfacial engineering, charge transport, device stability and low-noise operation. During his PhD, he investigated perovskite/organic heterojunctions and vacuum-deposited perovskite devices, combining materials characterisation, spectroscopy and electrical measurements to understand the fundamental mechanisms governing device performance and stability.
