BIO
Derryn Grant is a PhD student funded under the NIHR HPRU in environmental exposures and health. As a member of this HPRU, her work also falls under the MRC Centre for Environment and Health. She is working to develop a method to quantify the amount of fentanyl and fentanyl analogues in wastewater samples using LC-MS/MS.
My research focuses on the development of a precise and fast method to quantify the amount of fentanyl and fentanyl-like analogues using LC-MS/MS with the wider application of being able to monitor fentanyl useage in specific cities.
My PhD is supervised by Dr Leon Barron.
