BIO
Dr Fredrich is Academic Visitor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London and the Energy Group at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on the numerical simulation of aircraft contrails, plasma-assisted combustion, electrosprays, and thermo-acoustic instabilities. He holds a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Imperial and an MSc in Aeronautics and Astronautics from TU Berlin. He is the Co-founder of Pinepeak Ltd, a Cambridge University spinout developing physics-driven, AI-enhanced software to predict wildfire risk and behaviour across any terrain, anywhere in the world.
